Story:
Director Madhura Sreedhar ‘Back Bench Student’ Released today. Madhura Sreedhar is known as seen in 'Sneha Geetham' and 'It’s My Love Story. He is again back with Back Bench Student; here lead roles are Mahat Raghavendra, Pia Bajpai, Archana Kavi. Our hero Karthik (Mahat Raghavendra) is an engineering student. He always sits in the last bench. After that he falls in be in love with with Priyanka (Archana Kavi). He happily finished his four years of engineering.
Everyone finished their graduation except Karthik. Karthik has 16 unfinished subjects. He doesn't make public this matter in the house. For the time being Priyanka is scheduling to leave USA for the higher studies. Karthik doesn't like it. Karthik thinks that Priyanka left him for the reason that he unsuccessful in his exams. Soon he is making friendship with Chaitra (Piaa Bajpai).
While Karthik is in trouble she let somebody use him a shoulder to bend forward. She becomes a good friend and even finds him a job. Now Karthik and Chaitra fall in love. The sudden twist is Priyanka comeback to India from USA. Then what happened? Rest of the story you must watch in theatres…
Analysis:
Coming to movie analysis over the top promotion for the film and using big names like Dhoni, Sachin as inspiration for this film. Film initiate up fresh but drops next minute with slow moving of characters introductions. Mahat, Archana Kavi get on your nerves you with inexpressive expression in their romantic track. Screenplay completely failure. The only best thing in incomplete first half is one of the songs.
The liberator of the films comes in post interval as Piaa Bajpai and Ali comedy. A lot of scenes were long-drawn-out over the top to not interest you. Comic scenes from Brahmanandam character are just okay here. Climax of the film looks realistic in actual life. Coming to overview movie is below average.
Performance:
Mahat Raghavendra gives the impression of being good but the liveliness levels aren't sufficient.Piaa Bajpai is lot better compare to Archana or Mahat. Malayalam actress Archana Kavi looks beautiful but she comes up with poor acting aptitude. Sarath Babu as natural is good. Comedian Ali is another good division of the movie. He brings few laughs in the movie. Brahmi is just okay. He is not fulfilling his character. Rest of the people done justice to their roles.
Technicalities:
Director Madhura Sridhar Reddy doesn't take advantage of a nice story healthy. He required to say a lot of things but failed here how to do it. Screenplay is a combination of some present and some flashback episodes. The lettering doesn’t have transparency. Music by Sunil Kashyap that is not having any value here. Cinematography is quite good. The cinematographer made a good effort to represent the visuals well. Editing is ok.
Final Word: Go and Watch Back Bench Student movie. If you don’t have any alternate else smoothly avoid this movie.
