Till the other day, no one was sure about the release of Damarukam. As the film postponed several times, everyone was skeptical about its release date. First it was announced that the film would be released on October 19th, but then the release was called off. Just before the day of the release the producers of the film put an advertisement stating that the release was postponed due to technical glitches. But what about the new release date? And finally, it is now confirmed that the film wouldhit the screens on November 9th , as Deepavali gift of Nagarjuna's fans.

Added to this Nag fights super powered villains. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film while Srinivasa Reddy hasdirected Damarukam .
