YSR Congress leader Jagan is following TDP leader Chandra Babu Naidu to gain the popularity amongthe people. Chandrababu Naidu is quite successful as an opposition party leader from last 7 years. Chirufailed to compete with Chandra Babu Naidu in this aspect and hence merged his party into Congress. Chandrababu Naidu's innovative protests are the reason behind his success as an opposition party leader.
Except Odarpu Yatra, all other protests are merely a copy of Chandra Babu Naidu's protests. Therecent Raithu Odarpu Yatra and 3 days hunger strike in Vijayawada strengthens this statement. Till nowJagan hesitated to step into Telangana region but after the success of Chandrababu's Raithu Poru Bata, Jagan turned on his decision to go for Raithu Odharpu Yatra.
As a fresher in Politics, it is better to take veterans as example but the Politician will lack his own identity if he imitates the same. It would be better if Jagan plans a new way of protest rather than imitation. His father YSR who became a trend setter by doing Padayatra in 2004 never imitated others. Even Chandra Babu Naidu followed YSR formula of Padayatra to gain more attention.
