Paritala Ravi, The name itself resembles power. He had a huge fan following throughout the state and mainly in Rayalaseema. Ram Gopal Varma's recent flick "Rakta Charitra" showed his Heroism as Factionist. Sadly, the same factionism took his life. Factionism is not the right way and surely will not yield a permanent solution to the problems one faces.
Apparently, Sunitha (wife of Late Paritala Ravi) is not interested in factionism and she was appreciable for her service motive and calm behavior. After seven years of Paritala Ravi's death, for the first time Paritala Sunitha came into public to celebrate Sankranthi. She organized "Sankranthi Muggula Poti" for all the women of Venkatapuram, Anantapur district. She herself actively participated in the competition. Her words "I came here as a Sister but not as MLA" impressed all the Venkatapuram women. People of Venkatapuram village are very happy about her participation in Pongal celebrations after seven years.
Some way or the other, Paritala Sunitha was inspiring the women through her active participation in politics after her husband's death. She elected twice as MLA in 2005 and 2009. She should work hard for the peace in Rayalaseema, which could her to gain more popularity in the state politics
