Samantha has been selected as auteur Manirathnam's heroine in his next love story. According to our sources, Samantha, the current sensation and busiest heroine in Tollywood, has given her dates to Manirathnam's movie. The master director selected after watching her movies - Ye Maaya Chesave and Dookudu recently.
She will be playing the romantic interest of newcomer Gautham, Tamil actor Karthik's son.
Manirathnam wants to start the film very soon and finish first schedule before summer season sets in and then film rest of the movie in the monsoon period.
Samantha's films on sets
Currently, Samantha is working for Gautham Menon's trilingual movie that is in the last leg of shoot. She's also shooting for Naga Chaitanya's Autonagar Surya . From Jan 23rd, she will join the shoot of Mahesh Babu's Setamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu .
Apart from these movies, she has signed three more films in Telugu.
